My acceptance and the phone interview

Hey Everyone!

I recently applied and was accepted to the Disney College Program in Walt Disney World. I am very excited to move in on August 18, 2014. If you have any questions about the program please feel free to ask!

I had my phone interview on Feb. 27, 2014.  The best advice I can give is to be relaxed and smile. The more fun you are having on the phone the more fun the interviewer will have with you.  As the interview progresses really think about why you want to work for Disney and what sets you apart. I would highly recommend having a list of questions (I had about 4) for your interviewer. I really talked up my strong points (being a campus tour guide for my university) and made an effort to show that I was interested in more than just being able to say I worked for Disney.  Talk about what you want to do long-term, either for the company or just in general. I primary got questions that were geared towards my top three roles or just about me. The questions were not very off the wall.

I did accept my acceptance to the program exactly 2 weeks after my phone interview and I will be working Attractions!  I will write again soon about my bucket list but that is pretty much all I got until I begin my adventure! If you have any questions about things I can get answers to while in Disney please let me know!
